Hello! My name is Aubrie, and this is my website. I am a recent graduate of the History (M.A.)/ Library and Information Science: Archives Management (M.S.) program at Simmons University. I was previously a student of the University of Rochester where in 2016 I earned by bachelor’s degree in History; and Archaeology, Technology, and Historical Structures. While my historical background is diverse, my main interests are in Early American, Atlantic, and Women’s History. I find the topic of women’s role in maritime society of particular interest, and have done some research on their involvement at Port Royal, Jamaica.
In terms of library and information science, I hope to work digitizing historical documents in similar ways as I have helped at both the Bennington Museum and the Seward Family Digital Archive.
